The head is cast from molten steel poured into a mold. This process allows for complex shapes and better forgiveness, with a feel that's slightly less soft than a forged head.

Material is removed from the back of the head and redistributed around the perimeter, which lowers and widens the center of gravity. Result: more forgiveness and an easier launch, for a good balance between control and forgiveness.
