Forged head
The head is forged from a block of steel compressed under high pressure, for a softer, more consistent feel than a cast head, while keeping a forgiving design (cavity, insert).

Material is removed from the back of the head and redistributed around the perimeter, which lowers and widens the center of gravity. Result: more forgiveness and an easier launch, for a good balance between control and forgiveness.
